Hydrogen for shuttle intermittent kilns

The research team of Pagnotta Termomeccanica has begun to develop the first thermal machines powered by a mixture based on H2 (hydrogen) which allow to reduce the use of fossil fuels and the environmental impact.

From a technological point of view, hydrogen is an excellent fuel, therefore usable for the production of high quality ceramics even on an industrial scale; moreover it can be produced from 100% renewable sources through electrolysis.

The project of these machines was born for the European market where the reduction of CO2 emissions (carbon dioxide) are monitored and subject to compensation through ETS (Emission Traiding System EU). This new concept of ovens arises to be integrated with the Industry 4.0 plan.
